Roy Gillespie,

Roy grew up in Nova Scotia and graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax from Physiotherapy School in 1988. After working in Nova Scotia and Australia he moved to British Columbia in 1993. In the middle of 1993 he joined former classmate, Randy Goodman, in Westbank. He now works at the clinic in the Capital News Centre in Kelowna. He has taken numerous postgraduate courses over the years, and is now in the process of doing his Master’s degree at UBC. He also has been certified in acupuncture through the Canadian Acupuncture Foundation. Like many of his colleagues at Pinnacle, he had volunteered countless hours with local, provincial and national sports teams. Some of these teams include the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team, national and provincial karate, provincial field hockey, provincial soccer, and provincial volleyball. At present he is volunteering and traveling with the Okanagan Sun junior football team, and the local Ironman and Half Ironman events. Roy is an expert in sport biomechanics and computerized analysis of sport using both Dartfish and APAS analysis system and has consulted with many national and provincial teams.
