Jennifer Eckersley
MScPT
As a newcomer to British Columbia, Jenn is enjoying the scenic Okanagan after moving from her hometown of Brandon, Manitoba.
Jenn recently graduated from the University of Toronto with her Master of Science in Physical Therapy. While in Toronto, she participated in a variety of sports leagues and was the treasurer for the Physical Therapy Graduate Student’s Association.
Before Toronto, Jenn spent four years at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. At StFX, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics, while playing four seasons of varsity volleyball with the X-Women Volleyball team. A middle blocker, she also served as the team’s captain during her final two seasons.
As well as volleyball, Jenn enjoys running and downhill skiing, and is excited to attempt snow boarding in the mountains.
Jenn has done the level 1A acupuncture course and looks forward to completing the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada’s certification process so that she will be able to use acupuncture with her patients in the future. She also has a strong interest in manual therapy and sports injury rehabilitation.
