Joel Kryczka,B.Sc.P.T., Dip.Sports PT, BHKin ( Ex.Sc.)
Joel grew up in Calgary, Alberta. He graduated from Western Canada High School with advanced standing in the International Baccalaureate Program. He attended UBC where he obtained a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree, majoring in Biomechanics and Exercise prescription. He also completed a year of a Master’s degree (Mkin) at the University of Calgary. Joel then returned to UBC’s School of Rehabilitation Sciences completing his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. He has worked with the Pinnacle Team for the past four years and has recently earned his Diploma of Sports Physiotherapy from Sports Physiotherapy Canada.
Joel has further pursued an interest in high performance testing for all sports with the use of such testing protocols as the Wingate test (for Anaerobic Power) and Blood Lactate threshold test (FaCT test).
Joel’s primary focus in Sports Physiotherapy is working with Board Sports: Snowboarding, Wakeboarding, Skateboarding, Skimboarding and Surfing.

- Physiotherapist for Snowboarding Tour of Champions and Canadian National Championships ( 2005-2007)
