                      Michele Diener
                                                         Kinesiologist 

  Michele is a kinesiologist with 26 years experience in rehabilitative exercise.  She joined Pinnacle Sport Physiotherapy as an associate in the fall of 2006.

Michele grew up on a ranch outside of Calgary and was actively involved in school sports ( basketball, volleyball, track and field and equestrian sports).  She graduated from University of Calgary in 1985.  Following graduation she worked in Calgary at Petro Canada’s Health and Wellness Center, was fitness director at a large health and fitness club, Program coordinator at Mount Royal College, and a fitness instructor at U of C.

 

In 1992 Michele moved to BC where she has worked at several Sports Medicine/Physiotherapy clinics providing rehabilitative exercise to a wide variety of patients including athletes from hockey, gymnastics, figure and speed skating, cycling, running and skiing. 

 

Michele is a Professional Fitness and Lifestyle Consultant with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology.  She is presently completing her training with Stott Pilates, and working to complete her Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification with the National Strength and Conditioning Association in the U.S.

 

Michele is still active herself in many sports including cycling, cross country running, tennis, golf, as well as doing agility with her dog.
